Learn to Juggle at Phelpsortho.com! |
||
| Step 1: Start with one ball. Toss it from one hand to the other, back and forth, in an easy arch that peaks at eye level. Do this over and over, until the arcs are reproducible and until the arcs come easily. | ||
| Step 2: When you are really good with one ball, advance to two balls! With one ball in each hand, toss the first in an arc just like with one ball. When the first ball reaches the peak of its arc, toss the second ball in the opposite direction. Stop and repeat. Over and over. Toss, toss, catch, catch. Practice this over and over too, until it becomes easy. | ||
| Step 3: Now you are ready to juggle three balls. Hold two balls in one hand, one ball in the other. Toss one of the two balls, when that ball reaches it’s peak toss the single ball, when the second ball reaches it’s peak, toss the third ball. Don’t forget to catch the first ball after you have tossed the second ball. You will wind up with the opposite hand holding the two balls. Practice this over and over and over and over. | ||
| Step 4: Now it is time to juggle continuously. Start off the same as in step 3, but instead of catching the first ball in your opposite hand, toss it, the same goes for the second ball, and the third ball, toss them instead of catching them! | ||
| Hints:
Practice, Practice, Practice Do just a few tosses each time. Be patient. It took me 7 months to learn how to do this!!! |
